Grief & Loss
Processing and reacting to grief and loss is an individual experience. A sense of loss can be caused by a vast array of life experiences, such as the death of a loved one, divorce, children growing up and moving away, retirement or lay-off from a job, separation due to military deployment, separation from family members due to family problems, loss of a pet, loss of ability due to a health change, and any other life event that takes away something from your life. Therapy helps guide one through the process of identifying, managing and processing grief and loss, which ultimately allows one to move on to a fulfilling life. |
