LGBT Counseling
The LGBT community faces unique challenges in today's society. Besides the life challenges that all people face, there are problems unique to people in the LGBT community. Because of the nature of our society, people of this community sometimes face harsh judgement, isolation, and, sometimes, violence. Communication to others can be a source of stress. With whom do you share your orientation? Co-workers? Family? Friends? Are your religious beliefs in conflict with your sexual orientation?
I provide compassionate, accepting, non-judgmental therapy to help identify sources of stress and conflict, as well as education, tools and resources. |
